Juve Looking To Offload

"Our mission in England was with the aim to open contacts with medium-small clubs like Middlesbrough, Bolton and Portsmouth," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We want to open a relationship with view to possible sales."

Italian sources claim Fabrizio Miccoli - on loan at Benfica, Marcelo Zalayeta, and Robert Kovac are amongst the players being offered for sale.

Miccoli's a good player, nippy and full of tricks.

No goal, but great skill

I don't know much about Kovac but I thought he's supposed to be alright

He was only on Loan at Fiorentina.

He has caused trouble with every manager, thats why he has never done that well anywer!

If Bolton do have money, then I think its time you moved on from players like this.

Same old story here, if your going to say how he's trouble then you should be aware that any bolton fan

will point to Diouf and Anelka, and how he sounds like Allardyces type of player, we'll get him playing the

best football of his life etc. etc..

were more likely to sign an over 30 player from the scottish 3rd division than a top european player

He wasn't on loan at Fiorentina, he was in co-ownership along with George Chiellini and Enzo Maresca. There was a closed auction at the end of the 2004-05 season, and Juventus took their chance to deprive their rivals of three key players, outbidding them only to offload Maresca to Sevilla and Miccoli to Benfica. Fiorentina probably weren't that arsed, as they'd acquired Luca Toni and highly-rated youngsters Valeri Bojinov and Giampaolo Pazzini for the following season.

To say he's caused bother wherever he's been is a bit daft. Since he was plucked from obscurity Juventus have loaned him to Perugia, shared him all too briefly with Fiorentina, and loaned him out to Benfica, where he's struggled a bit with niggly injuries.

I'm not sure why Juventus don't want to play him, but I expect there'll be a lengthy queue if he becomes available.

Anyway....

Maybe the Fiorentina scouts have a golden touch then, just look at Chiellini and Maresca now, very good players.
