Quotes From A Brazilian Idiot

Stuff like this gets right on my tits, how ragging stupid does this lad sound. I don't have time to think about doing bicycle kicks FFS. W?nker!!!

"The teams from the north of England are terrible," he told The Times.

"When we play them I have counted their centre-backs booting up to 30 long balls upfield per game.

"The weather over here is killing me. We'll get one day of sunshine for every 30 days of rain, and it is driving me to despair.

"Premiership football is very hard. I am Brazilian and I enjoy playing the ball, making clever touches and taking bicycle kicks. Arsene Wenger does not forbid me from doing them, but the game is so fast I don't even have time to think about them.

"The moment you stop to think, someone has taken the ball off you and knocked you to the ground. Over here they value a corner kick more than a fancy flick. I am lucky to be with Arsenal, as they are a team that likes to play proper football."

Which quote would you like to take him to task on?

I'm not convinced he counts centre halves clearances, but aside from that....

im guessing baptista doesnt speak a word of the queens, so chances are half the story was lost in translation and the other half the press didnt believe it would cause a stir so didnt print.

what are you left with? a medicore story for readers of the sun.

boring....

Or The Times

Make him spot on. Where's the problem?

For a start the last 2 weeks in London have been glorious weather wise and it's only April.

So one day of sun, 30 of rain is a tad exaggerated.

Anyway, he is utter sh?te so it hardly matters what he says does it?

You never exaggerate even slightly?

Of course you do - you have in your post!

for some who is nickanmed the beast he sounds a right nonce...

Umm, perhaps because I happen to think he has a point. Also, whilst he hasn't exactly set the league on fire, to seriously label him 'utter shite' is either an outrageous exaggeration or demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge of the beautiful game.

WHU, Watford & Charlton - get the southerners out of the PL :good:

The North West of England is the spiritual home of football, not even the Laaaahndan media or the mockneys can change that.

As for Julio - who cares what he thinks.

Yossi the boy can't cut it in the Prem. He struggled in Madrid too, but was supposed to be good before he went to Madrid. I've seen him a few times this season, and I am not impressed with him.

I suspect it is supporting the Spammers thats has you appreciating the beautiful game so much.

I know, next time we play him, why don't we stand back, let him do a few tricks then set up a goal eh!!!!!

Not, thats the name of the game, winning the fckin ball you thick brazilian portuguese speaking f?cktard

In his first season in English football and in just 13 starts for Arsenal, he's scored 10 goals. Hmm...

He scored 1 in 3 for Madrid (good for an out and out goalscorer - which he isn't)

He averaged 2 in 3 for Sevilla.

Do you really still think he deserves the tag 'utter shite'??

I think he's only scored nine but i may be wrong.

How many has he scored in the League? Two!!! He scored 4 against the Murders in one match didn't he and has got 6 in total in the Carling Cup and one in the FA Cup. I didn't say he was utter shite, but i did say he can't cut it in the Prem, and i don't rate him. Neither do the Arsenal fans, I read somewhere a gooner describing him as having the first touch of a rapist.

Two league goals. But he has only started 8 games! For a Brazilian playing in a totally unfamiliar league, style, pace of game etc, I think he has done as well as can be expected.

It always takes longer for 'foreigners' to settle compared to transfers between british clubs, particularly when they're from South America.

I think it's unfair to judge any player until he's had a run of games in the team no matter who they are. You simply can't tell in fleeting 20 minute substitute appearances.

Anyway - why trust a gooner's opinion? They thought John Radford was good!

Let's see if Wenger keeps him, and then judge who doesn't understand the beautiful game

ps I've tried a million times to stop exaggerating... I just can't help it though

Wherever and whenever he goes - it'll have fcuk all to do with him. ;)

At least it won't be your lot he'll end up at anyway.

Arsene Wenger is the oracle of football?

Arsene Wenger is the oracle of football?

Not at all, that title belongs to Eggert Magnusson.

Arsene Wenger is the oracle of football?

I'd have thought his judgement is better than yours or mine, to be honest
