Nolan I can understand and hats off to Sammy for leaving him out, but Speed?

Hunt was not one of the 3 to see garside. The 3rd was Davies and it was the Friday before the Spurs game after training when LSL had gone home. He has since found out about this and not took it lightly. IMO he knows he cant do without Davies but naming him captain didnt add up if he's done the shit on him.

Hunt fell out with LSL in Macedonia and again last week in training when LSL was cheting in a 5 a side game. The lad himself said he wont play again under LSL. Spoke to a few of the players last night and they were all taking the piss out of Sammy Lee and the things he says in interviews;

Injuries permitting, Hunt wouldn't play if I was manager either, so there's no problem there.

 

Players are employed by the club to play football regardless of whether they like the manager or not.

 

It would be remiss of them not to take the piss out of things Lee says in interviews.

So from genuine hear-say evidence, Hunt is guilty. Nolan is probably guilty. But what about Gary Speed? I'd be very, very surprised if he was talking behind Sammy Lee's back.

 

Should we not hazard a guess that after the first two blabbed to PG, the chairman then invited his most senior pro into his office for a chat? And from that discussion, Speed gave an honest and professional opinion of his manager, without being a back-stabber?

Sounds more plausible, but who knows?
