Nolan I can understand and hats off to Sammy for leaving him out, but Speed?

Can understand both to be honest. I dont think Speed will be able to play every game this year, but maybe we could done with his experience today against Chelsea.

Re Campo, he's always vulnerable with the verbals afterwards but red card, no.

Mainly Bolton second half but Chelsea look comfortable at the back and would be surprised if they killed it on the counter.

Anelka almost got on the end of a Davies flick having just fluffed a good free kick opportunity.

Apparantly after the Rabotnicki away game, Nolan, Speed and Hunt had a fall out with Sammy Lee and over the past couple of weeks, all have been to see Gartside to tell him Lee isn't the man for the job.

 

Now Sammy has found out about this and dropped them, when the teams were announced, just as predicted, none were included.

 

I'm not one for believing all the rumours but theres no smoke without fire and this one does seem to be a little dodgey.

Find it hard to imagine, but would explain why none of the three was even on the bench. Speed should have been on the bench probably, but the midfield didn't miss him or Nolan IMO - in case anyone is wondering.

I was told exactly the same yesterday, a lad working for me is good mates with Nicky Hunt, and almost word for word said they'd been to see Gartside and told him that they thought the bloke wasn't up to it.

They also said he smells the lost property basket after training.

if so many of the players are unhappy and senior players at that / coaching staff in speeds case then lsl has a major problem he's eaither got to pull the squad togeather or he has to go. today was an ok performance and a bit of an improvment but facts are things behind the scenes are sounding worse than ever.

It just doesn't ring true to me. Why would someone like Speed who owes his job to Sammy Lee, or Nolan, who's own form has been shit all season, go behind Sammy Lee's back to get him sacked? As for Hunt, if he has a problem fighting for his place, then get rid of him, he won't be any great loss.

Right so at the first sign of a problem you'd go running to teacher would you, rather than having the balls to talk to the person concerned? Somehow i doubt that Gary Speed is the sort of bloke who'd do that, or Nolan and Hunt for that matter.

The rumoured mismanagement of the club has been evident all season.

I too doubt any of those concerned have broken rank without trying to help from within first.
