Belgrade - Are We Expecting....

An announcment from the club re:-

A. An area specifically for BWFC fans in centre and location etc.

B. Arrangements for travel to ground. (For independant travellers)

C. Arrangements for travel from ground back to city centre. (Ditto)

I would have assumed that these would have been known by now and should have been announced by the club.

The fact that nothing has been announced does not suprise me neither.

if its taxis then its taxis.

As usual we will be left to our own devices, but i would imagin that once we all congregate in a certain area of the city the old bill will sort it out, they won't want us walking the streets they will want us to stay in 1 place. Mobiles will be bouncing

They will want us walking the streets, all in a big group surrounded by armed police who will escort us to the ground on foot when they decide it's time to go

As long as they keep us out of range of those rockets,we should be all right then.

I don't believe that they'll walk you to the ground. Or maybe they'll do that on some 4 hours before the match when there still are no home fans.

Bayern's fans were brought on the stadium on exactly 3 hours before the match. They arrived with buses and the police blocked the street and then about 100 armed police surrounded them and blocked the area around their entrance.

Oooh, how exciting. Is there a cricket pitch next to the ground too?

see Widders, I told you there'd be no poo-pipe shenanigans on the Worthers trip!

Seriously though, 3 bloody hours before KO???? Very serious question - can you get a pint in the ground???

Not just that they were brought in 3 hours before the match, but they were hold for more than an hour after the match, waiting for the home fans to go away.

Yes there was beer on the stadium on the Zvezda-Beyern match, but I didn't saw any drinks stand on the end where the away fans are located

You can, but it will be non alcoholic (UEFA rules)

BUT Widders has already thought abount this and therefore, plan B has been hatched

We shall be leaving leaving the square exactly 3 hours and 5 mins before the start of the game (undetected in our mirror windowed battle bus) after further alehouse activity, we'll be arriving at the ground in complete safety via our armoured vehicle, our Serbian driver has been instructed to back up all the way upto the away turnstlle where we shall pile out of the back

Our collection after the game will follow a similar plan

Loose Lips :-k :-k :-k

Why doesn't it surprise me that you'll be "going down" the Balkan equivalent of Canal Street?

We're only going to buy some poppers :-k :-k :-k

I know it's against the rules, but the beer on the Zvezda-Bayern was definitely alcoholic. But as I said , I wasn't able to see any beer stand on the away fans end
