'we're fcuked; we're relegated; we're shiyte' etc. It plainly ain't true. Won't even be close.

One win against a poor Reading team who themselves could be going down.

Perrrleeeaaasssseeee.

We're around 18 points worse off than last season and seasons previous.

I'll always sit on the fence. I ain't throwing in the towel and likewise I ain't driving round in an open-top bus.

I hope this is the start of good things - 3 clean sheets recently - but still lacking something up front.

Anyway, glad I bought myself a really big coat recently, cos its feckin' cold under my rock!

i didnt think we'd finish bottom when we drew with fulham, nor do i think we'll win the league now we've beat reading.

Hardly makes you Nostradamus does it Homer

F?cking feels better now though after three points eh?

I can go out tonight and get pissed up with a smile on my face !

Onwards and upwards

We'd have to go some to finish below Derby!

Owd on Smiley, when the slightest thing goes wrong, the neggos are on here almost purring about it. Can't blame folk for doing the same when summat goes (very) reet.

Homer nailed it. Nobody's saying we'll make a UEFA place just because we beat a poor Reading side. We're saying we'll stay up. There must have been 20 on here last week saying we'd definitely be relegated this year. I wonder if they'll come on here and say the same today? :nea:

I've stated more than once this week I think we've got enough to stay up. But it is going to be very close still as we have some very tough games especially at home.

Now we seem to have sorted the back line, I think away games will suit us more as we can absorb the pressure now and we cash in when it counts :yahoo:

Go on then bobs old chap, please tell me why I've made red ginger of myself, because I cant see it .... as opposed to your good self who can see everything how I dont know with a pair of balls hanging over his eyes

GARY MEGSON was obviously pleased that his side picked up their first away league win of the campaign but admitted that there is still room for improvement.

That's the kind of realistic reaction I like from a Wanderers manager.

But maybe he'll he have to apologise for being negative.

You appear to have decided after one good win against Reading, that the season is over,we didn't get relegated and we didn't need a goalscorer to replace Anelka after all.

Wonderful as yesterday's result was, we have 25 points from 25 games, have used up nearly all of our easy matches and are in a relegation battle.

You seem to have decided that a poor result against Fulham, in a game we largely dominated, means we are favourites for relegation.

We could bat this fooker back and forth over the net all night.

I am more inclined to be positive like Tyldesley. Surprising eh?
