Whats it like now? Obviously a few off here have lived or served in the area, I have heard it is becoming quite cosmopolitan. Is it worth a visit?

I am thinking of taking a little city break over there, hoping to go to Eamon Holmes old house... and burn it. Advice please :pardon:

Go to the 'other' Beckingham palace and throw something hard and heavy at the 'other' David Beckham!

Like most who visit, you will find the place to be extremley friendly. the night life in Belfast is second to none loads of bars ,resturants and night clubs.

Some good places to visit, Crumlin road Prison and the open top tour bus takes you through all the hot spots of the troubles.

Anyone off here who visits pm me prior, pick up service and tour is all part of the package for the pricely sum of a couple of pints. :drinks:

I do not advise finding Bobby Sands' grave and putting a bacon butty on it

And a great service it is! The tour is quite informative too.

Make sure you do the Rope Bridge Trip as well.... with a run down the coast afterwards as the mist rolls in from the sea.

Actually, one of the most interesting (or dull, you decide) things about Northern Ireland is that republican graffiti is always spelt a lot better than loyalist ones. Whatever you might think about the IRA, those boys can definitely spell and punctuate. Fair play to them, I say.
