Bolton boss Megson: Meite has apologised

tribalfooball.com - April 16, 2008

Bolton Wanderers defender Abdoulaye Meite has apologised to manager Gary Megson for refusing to play in the second half of last month's match at Manchester United.

The Ivory Coast centre half, who has not played since, will be back in the frame for Bolton's last four games.

Megson said: "He has been to see me and the senior players and apologised for what he realises was an awful mistake."

Thing is if he has apologised I still dont see how he will get into the side.

You can imagine the scene can't you. Megson saying "I've told you are not going out to play til you've said sorry."

Megson will make him captain for next game.

Megson will make him captain for next game.

Then drop him,

Then reinstate him after a sulk at half time

I would imagine he'll just be sat on the bench from now until the end of the season

worst comes to worst he could be quiet useful again nxt year so good to know they kissed and made up

An extra defender.

Smells like the perfect excuse for 0 up front v Boro

he's apologised for something he hasn't done!

a few weeks ago he said he was innocent and was honestly injured.

now he's apologising for not playing to the manager and players.

i hope he's getting his wages docked.............

.........actually, come to think of it, that's what's paying for the free coaches to Boro
