Anyone off here going? I predict a busy Old Trafford for this one after yesterday, does George know the record attendance for one of these?.

Doesn't tell the half of it.

We had loads of chances but couldn't put it in the onion bag.

Hit the post in the first half during a mad scramble, in the second half we had the ball over the line only for the linesman to judge that it hadn't.

Took off Odabayi for Harsanyi mid way through the second half and after we seemed to lose our way.

One of ours got sent off (Sissons?) for saying summat to the ref.

Up to them scoring in the second half we were the better team, after that we chased the game but couldn't really do owt, their second was scored on 90 mins.

Attendance approx 1500 ish with approx 200 ish from Bolton made up of mums/dads/friends/ and folk with nowt else to do.

Did Harsanyi or Obadeyi look anything like being good enough for the bench next season?

Did Harsanyi or Obadeyi look anything like being good enough for the bench next season?

Saw Obadeyi against Port Vale in the FA youth cup earlier this season and he looked very good, on tonights showing he had plenty of chances but couldn't find the net, that said there is everything to be gained from blooding him in a few pre-season games and League Cup games, Prem is a different matter.

Harsanyi came on for last 20 mins, bit surprised to find him on the bench, but he didn't really do owt, can't say one way or t'other for him.

My dad said Smith looked decent.

Also Tope and Michael burns looked decent, apparently.

Agreed, Smith put himself about on the wings and Burns looked good on the ball as a playmaker type, always looking for it.

Fojut played at CH but Basham who played along side him reminded me of a young Paul Jones.

We can only hope :good:

harsanyi no chance of playing in the 1st team, obadeyi has a chance if he has a good pre season and works on his first touch and learns to play off it..to be fair to him and matt carlisle they had both just been flown back from germany where they had been playing in a u-19 tournement to play in this game{classic wanderers preparation for a big game}..both had played in 3 matches since saturday morning,as did sam sheridan, who came on for the last 10 mins. and both tired in the second half, carlisle played the full 90.

i was at the game and take it from me wanderers deserved better on the night and where the best team for long periods of the matchbut just couldnt score when on top{sounds familiar} and can count themselves very very unlucky not to have won..rob sissons got himself sent off for complaining to the ref about the ball over the line incident,he said it was well over and should have been given.

utd looked very ordinary but did have two quick lads up front in eagles and welbeck and a decent centre back in richard eckersley..all in all a decent night out, shite result, best team lost on the night

I agree with all of that apart from the crowd. We dominated the game for long periods and could have won.

I counted about 80 in the Bolton end and thought there were under 1,000 in the ground. There were quite a few Bolton in the home section as well though.

United turned out a single sheeter which was handed out free of charge.A fiver to get in with a ticket to keep as a momento.

Good to hear some teenage mancs singing oh wanky wanky...it is nice to know they care.

The two players who impressed me most were Sissons and the left back Matt Carlisle.

Sorry George, I don't do counting.

I took offence at the bloke in the wheelchair section, just in front of the Bolton fans, he jumped up when they scored, turned to us and started to flick the v's. I thought he had got in there under false pretences until I realised that he was minding somebody. Anyway it didn't stop him from getting a verbal volley from meself, much to young Miss B's amusement.

I took offence at having to do Mexican waves.I noticed certain people at the back of the Bolton section didn't join in.Party poopers.

Glad our future left back did well
