According to george its the first time we have reached the quater-finals since 1971/72 season,and i would back him to be right on that,great effort from the lads,and still yet to conceed a goal,but the next game is going to be a tough one,they will be strong underdogs but i think that might help them,fingers crossed they just might pull off a shock..all the team played well tonight with good shape and workrate throughout the side, defensively we looked very strong,especially the keeper tom brocklehurst who was top draw.

i agree,but if he does go i think it will be a cheap or one off the dole replacement,the cheaper option would be owen coyle,who was saying on talksport on thursday how much he enjoyed his time at bolton,and what a good club it is,and one off the dole gartside might go for could be Billy Davies {ex derby boss},wouldnt be my chioce but i just think thats the way he might go,especially if the club is heading for the championship!....

harsanyi no chance of playing in the 1st team,obadeyi has a chance if he has a good pre season and works on his first touch and learns to play off it..to be fair to him and matt carlisle they had both just been flown back from germany where they had been playing in a u-19 tournement to play in this game{classic wanderers preparation for a big game}..both had played in 3 matches since saturday morning,as did sam sheridan,who came on for the last 10 mins. and both tired in the second half,carlisle played the full 90. i was at the game and take it from me wanderers deserved better on the night and where the best team for long periods of the matchbut just couldnt score when on top{sounds familiar} and can count themselves very very unlucky not to have won..rob sissons got himself sent off for complaining to the ref about the ball over the line incident,he said it was well over and should have been given. utd looked very ordinary but did have two quick lads up front in eagles and welbeck and a decent centre back in richard eckersley..all in all a decent night out,shite result,best team lost on the night
