Considering only the top 21 go through to the Main Event, and there are expected to be between 800 and 1000 entries by kick off time, I don't stand much chance of progressing. But I am well chuffed that I have got this far.

There will be some top quality poker players in at this stage, I will just give it my best shot.

Anyone can enter today's event at a cost of $550 so there could be some average players with plenty of money. I hope they are on my table.

first break back to 3000 chips 686th of 1200 1500 or so in at start

 

i get pocket 6s flop 2 6 4....domr guy bets 200 i raise to 400 he goes all in i call

 

he has pocket 2s ....no miracles for him i now have 7200 chips in 110th place of 1017.

QK in my hand, k on the flop, went big, some bloke was playing pocket kings....

next hand AK with a massive pot as 4 all ins before me, two had big pairs no AK comes out BUT i would have made an ace flush !!! and won the hand...

 

2 hands later jk (jack of clubs) flop 10 k (clubs) 6, i bet one guy calls, q of clubs on turn i have top pait srt draw and flush draw, lump it all in, he calls, another red ginger with pocket kings ! river comes up dry and i fcuk off home.
