Finance guy at our place is a big Liverpool fan (ST holder) and I was chatting to him today as I sent him to video of me on the tv in Lisbon and he was tacking the mick. Anyhow, at the end of the conversation he said that he was seeing the Director of the English Cricket Academy, which is based here, later in the day and was on a promise for getting fixture info as the latter guy had been at a Sport England meeting the day before and there were FA bigwigs there etc to ask. So I asks him to see if the geezer knew about Bolton; sure enough later in the day he rings me back and says that the guy had told him Liverpool's first few (I think he said home to Spurs was their first) and then he'd asked about us. The answer was that the guy in question wouldn't have known except that he had a Hampshire connection and by coincidence Pompey had us first game, at the Reebok.
