I went to Cardiff a few weeks ago that junction was a nightmare due to roadworks. The north and south bound slip roads drop down to one lane each and then where they merge before joining the M5 that's down to one lane and 40Mph. So effectivly it's 4 lanes into 1 which causes all the problems on the M6. So leave plenty of time heading to Bristol next month.
-
And unlike the m42 or M6 they aren't adding any additional lanes on the M60. The only bit that will get an extra lane from the hard shoulder is on the M62 from the M66 to junction 20 for Rochdale.

I am sure they have only done it to stop me hanging my flag at the back of the stand! They were getting pissed off I hadn't paid my advertising costs ????
-
Even having read all of that there is a bloody good chance I'll forget on my way home from Crewe on weds ????
-
There are some closures near Barton Bridge this week, from junction 8-12 usually they put the closures on at 10 As Mick D will vouch the Trafford Centre rule the roost ???? More details can be found on the Manchester Smart Motorways Facebook it's usually the most uptodat and accurate https://www.facebook.com/smartmotorwaysmanchester/posts/1282844595176956

£7 you have been ripped off for mine for £6 and Micky D's for £4 return ????

For Anyone planning using the M62 on the way home tomorrow. It's closed westbound between Heywood jnc 19 and jnc 18 for the m60/m66 from 10pm for road works

The Baum is a good pub, good selection of larger and real ales - bit pricy but good beer and food. The Flying horse is a good pub again nice selection of beer and ales good is good too. Prices a bit more reasonable There is also a Yates and a Wetherspoons. There are no pubs between the town centre and the ground but there is the Radcliffe arms at the ground which usually lets away fans in but not always.

We don't seem to have a leader on the pitch, like we had with Kevin Nolan, Cahill, Davies who would be giving out orders on the pitch. Nor do we have a player that can take the game by the cruff of the neck when things get tough
-
Ameobi looked OK, much better than Heskey. It's worrying that when Leeds come out on top at the start of the second half we didn't have the nouse to keep hold of the ball slow down the game and kill Leeds momentum. Lack of game management like QPR

Miles better yesterday. I could actually see the highlights.
-
I thought maives & Danns had a good game, they always wanted the ball and Davies was looking to make things happen, even when we went two down. In the past everyone would just go into hiding shows the character and drive Lennon has instilled into the team

Only saying what I was told by the regular steward stood at the tunnel who claimed he heard them shout it, not the orange warriors who chucked them out. As I said I didn't hear them shout it. If they did well they deserve to go out. The way they were dealt with was very heavy handed by the stewards, unfortunately it's not uncommon at The Macron To me they were a group of lads having the crack.

Typical nob stewards went wading in there inflamed the situation not that there was one until they came in. You would have thought the club have sorted this out by now not the first time is it! http://m.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/11277099.Bolton_Wanderers__steward_convicted_of_assaulting_a_fan_at_the_Reebok_Stadium/?ref=mac All giving the club a bad rep

It was a group of jocks that had come down for the match they were shouting stuff all the time they was in there although couldn't really tell what they said, According to the steward I spoke to, one of them shouted 'you black bastard' to a Brighton player, I didn't hear it to be fair I needed a translator to understand them! His mates where chucked out for filming the stewards.
