I've spent all afternoon catching up on Glasto. After the slating Jay-Z got in the press I was expecting him to be shite. I'm quite enjoying it actually.

 

Kings of Leon were great and I'm waiting to see The Verve and Elbow who were reportedly brilliant.

sorry cas have to disagree about the verve, there a superb live band, richard ashcroft is a front for the band,with nick mccabe an awesome guitarist.

its all about personal taste though.

maybe down to the limited alcohol i had on sunday, but the verve seemed better than they did at haigh hall, and ashcroft at old trafford a few years back...

Been looking forward to their comeback - praying that they didn't just come up with Urban Hymns 2 (personally, I've gone from thinking the album is weak to loathing it) and get back to Man Called Sun and All In The Mind etc etc saw them at Galstonbury in 95 just before their first split and Slide Away was outstanding - sounded good on TV and the few downloads that I've heard suggest a return to earlier records. Now all I need is a Spiritulized/Verve double headliner tour with Kate Radley playing in both bands!
