Jay Z

Not a big fan, but fair play for him for doing Wonderwall last night. Quite amusing after what Noel G said about him.

What right have dirty grungie and hippy types have a go at him headlining? Isn't one of the concepts of Glastonbury to put on turns folk might never have heard before. Well they probably haven't.

Turns out he went down quite well by all accounts.

Like you say fair play to him for doing the gig as they could've been brutal (I know he got paid a lot of money BUT I'm sure he could've been in a million other places, getting paid just as much.)

im going to sue him for copy right

Gallagher and his mono browed halfwit brother are always threatening to give little soft southerners like Damon Albarn a kicking. Funny how he didn't do that with Jay Z.

It was a shame the much-vaunted fight between R Williams and L Gallagher never materialised. I would have been cheering every single punch. Pair of gary nevilles.

How very dare he! Proper music, played by proper blokes with proper guitars and drums and stuff is what is needed. Now, Oasis, there is a truly original band, never nicked a single note them lads.

With Mrs Z waiting for him I bet he's bothered.

Do you base all your musical choices on how attractive the artists wife is?

Yes, which is the reason why he is Elton Johns biggest fan.

I watched them, must admit they seemed pretty good. I also enjoyed Elbow the night before, but I was totally p?ssed whilst watching it!

"You can have a great Glastonbury without even seeing a band."

There isn't a Glastonbury Festival goes by without somebody wheeling out a variation on that theme.

I reckon this was the year the organizers decided it'd be funny to find out just how true it was.

Did Man Like Me turn up?

Saw these a few years ago in Manchester. It was a venue near Piccadilly. Can't remember the name of the place. They were very good.

What reminds me of them is that after the gig I was rimmed by a girl from our chief office. It was the 1st and last time I saw her although she did send me a Valentines card through internal post a few months later. Bless......

Rimmed on the 1st date, but you didn't see her again.

She must be filthy after a couple of nights out.

Did Man Like Me turn up?

Who knows?

They were scheduled to play a six-and-a-half-minute slot on Table 13 in the African Safari Kitchen on the Friday night.

Reviews of their performance are surprisingly thin on the ground.

And it's only ?39.50 for the whole weekend including camping fees!

Worked with the guy/compnay who promote all these 'acts' - he makes a pretty penny out of them.
