Has anyone on here have some thin drain clearing rods?

 

My drain is blocked & i need it unblocking. I have tried those 3/4" thick rods, but i can't bend them rond the bend in the drain.

 

Sensible replies.

Isaac, you can hire them for a few quid from most hire shops. Actually, you can buy em for about ?15 in B&Q.

 

I've got some but they're in a van in Stockport.

Im pretty sure you can pour petrol down there and then light it which clears the blockage

If your sewer is downhill make sure you try and clear it from the uphill side! Oh the fun I had watching someone stand at the bottom of his road with a few dozen drain rods. You could see what was going to happen about an hour before it did. I just wish I'd videod it.
