Thought series 2 would have been a 20 odd episode job. Ended all of a sudden at 13.

not sure how old this series is but a lot of yank tv prgrammes had their run cut short by the writers strike.

which I guess is why Heroes finishes tonight after 11, when the first series was 26 episodes

I've been watching FX all week (I didn't know I had it!) and have just seen this advertised. I thought it started tonight. Does indeed look good.

Most American HBO/Showtime shows (i.e the ones with swearing, sex and violence in) like Dexter, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm have a run of a dozen episodes or so. They also tend to run for a full hour instead of 40 mins.
