July 3, 200817 yr not sure how old this series is but a lot of yank tv prgrammes had their run cut short by the writers strike. Great Show. Most American HBO/Showtime shows (i.e the ones with swearing, sex and violence in) like Dexter, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm have a run of a dozen episodes or so. They also tend to run for a full hour instead of 40 mins.
