Will It Be Another Struggle This Season?

Featured Replies

Yes, my point being the constant sniping of Megson is getting tedious, not that you shouldn't post. Every thread involved some form of "Megson's sh*t we're gonna fail etc etc etc" - it's just getting boring. so much bitterness can't be healthy, move on with life, Sam's gone.

I think one thing that Megson has got right is buying a player in midfield who can actually run all day.

Now I don't know much about Muamba but from the reports he is quick and never stops running and that is something we have not had ever in our midfield especially in the holding role i.e. Warhurst, Campo, Hierro, Speed. Obviously these were good players and when we were playing well they looked good, but against certain teams and certain formations they all struggled with the pace of the game.

I am hoping that Muamba will allow the other two central midfielders Nolan and ??? the freedom to make forward runs to complement the lone striker assuming we keep to the 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation.

So on this basis alone I think we will do OK, if we could add a creative midfielder as well then I think we could do well. Would quite like another centre half as back up too.

But dont take my word for it, this time last year I thought Sammy Lee was going to have a beltin season with lots of flowing wing play!!!!

I was giving my reasons as to why I think we will struggle away from home instead of just saying we wont do well away.

Says the poster with some slag flashing her tits on his avatar. Aye, alreet!

I think we will be safe, but struggle.

I just don't see where the goals will come from (again)

We have replaced Nic with a worse player

We have not brought in the players to provide for the front men

Still time, but a struggle I fear

Why, thank you...I think! :D

how old are you?

What the f?ck has my age got to do with the fact that I agree with somebody on here, cockend?

You are the epitome of all that is wrong with the modern Bolton fan.

You have hardly anything positive to say about the club, the board, the management, the team or anything at all connected with Bolton Wanderers.

With fans like you, we'd be better off playing in front of 10,000: now jog on.

So, would you say we've finally replaced Abdoulaye Faye?

makalele aint pacy

id say most important skill for that holding midfielder is the ability to read the game

ie be stood in the right place
