It's very annoying! Setanta is shite too, they don't even have a HD channel which is piss poor IMO.

Great value if all you desire is wall-to-wall football. A couple of england games in amongst all the non-league and 3rd rate premiership matches doesn't sell it to me

it's more bloody expensive I've had Setanta "free" upto now. With Virgin ?80odd a month (incl phone bills) as opposed to ?50odd pcm with Sky. Cheaper to go with Sky and pay for Setanta. Virgin = Spongin'

I signed up for Setanta this season and enjoyed the coverage but I wouldn't bother if Scottish footie isn't your thing.

I've got Virgin with Setanta for ?42 a month (inc broadband and phone). Was ?80+, I rang em up sayin I'd be switching to Sky unless they beat Sky's price, they beat it.

I get Setanta free with my Virgin package, but I still won't be watching, as like 90% of England games it will be a load of old sh?t. I'll wait for the highlights later on BBC.

 

And NB, cable is the future. SKY is for folk who like having a vulgar "sat dish" stuck to the side of their house - you see a lot of them on council estates! :p

I've got Virgin with Setanta for ?42 a month (inc broadband and phone).

 

I take it you have unlimited broadband and 24/7 calls on the phone line to landlines, if so it must be their standard offering, as I had that deal agreed a couple of days ago - they've also lobbed Skysports in free of charge for the next 3 months though, and they gave me the V+ box in that deal as well, so not too bad all in all (especially as work give me ?35 towards my phone and broadband)

Tempted to get Setanta in time for the next series of Ultimate fighter although i might just get poppa spencer to record it from his BT box then go round and watch it.

I would have thought that The Beeb would have the highlights, I'm sure I'll be able to catch the goals or something on Setanta early Sunday. I'll be buggered if I'm wasting any of my Saturday night watching England.

It's should've been on eother the Beeb or ITV but Sultana wanted rediculous ammounts of money for the rights to the highlights and neither terrestrial channels were prepared to pay it.
