October 20, 200817 yr Author You honestly think so? It was a bit risky but the fact he's played the ball made it a no foul for me. i see danny g is having a kick out again.
October 20, 200817 yr I can see why he gave it, wasnt a patch on the one he gave against us, nobody in the world apart from him could explain that one
October 20, 200817 yr Author Aye , can see why the eeeejut gave it. But i must add i have just seen WHERE he gave it from, yer man was languishing near the centre circle and gave it from there. Lazy git!
October 20, 200817 yr Was a penalty imo, took the man before the ball. Was never a pen the defender had every right to go for the ball and got the ball first, that Styles whats shooting. Should be a good second half.

I'd have liked to be a fly on the wall at half time when Mr. Kinnear went and had a word (I thought that wasn't allowed though). I don't like him being at Newcastle as I like him, and don't like them.
October 20, 200817 yr What's Graham 'look at me' Poll doing on that programme? I'm not sure I'm keen on current refs being on these programmes. apologies - I didn't realise he'd retired! Edited October 20, 200817 yr by no balls
October 21, 200817 yr Att : 45,908 So after 4 Premier League fixtures this season, Newcastle have had over 50,000 once and their other crowd was 20,577 against Tottenham in the League Cup. No more silly talk about Newcastle getting 50,000 every week please posters.

October 21, 200817 yr I can't even see why he's given it, he needs to take a very long break from football.
October 21, 200817 yr To be fair, from his angle it was a nailed on penalty and he's said he'll have a look at it. To the law, a challenge from behind is a foul whether you get the ball or not. If that's in the area, it's a penalty. If that's the last man, it's a red card. Not necessarily Styles' fault if that's his rationale for the decision.......

It's a challenge from the side, a tackle from behind is when you go through the man to get to the ball. Surely he needs to ask his assistant before he makes such a massive decision?

Surely he needs to ask his assistant before he makes such a massive decision? That'll be the same assistant who saw a foul right by his feet and did nowt, I presume! They're f?cking liners, to call them assistants is a misnomer!
October 21, 200817 yr It's a challenge from the side from his angle Setanta showed an angle from Styles' view, Beye was behind Robinho even though the tackle went around the man. From Styles' view, it was a tackle from behind.

October 24, 200817 yr Not nice to see anyone effectively lose their job. But, he clearly has different views on the laws of the game than his superiors. Time to go. Give over! Don't be soft! If you worked with someone as arrogant and inept as him, don't tell me you wouldn't snigger if he got his marching orders!
Enough is enough!
