November 2, 200817 yr A great performance by all... the relief on all the team was there to see when the first went in... although Ricky was lucky it didn't go over the bar Davies won every header.. Nolan, Samual, taylor and Muamba...in fact all had a great game and put 100% in... our defence kepta free scoring city attack line in their pockets.... it was a relief to see the 2nd go in... crowd got behind the team after a half time pint as well... bring on the tigers...
November 3, 200817 yr tail end of last season we looked lost he came back from injury/suspension and we looked a damn site better There was a number of times under Fat Sam as well, where Nolan was out and the team didnt quiet click. No one could put their finger on what he offered to the team other than the odd goal, but we were much better with him in it. I though he had a good game on Sunday, and drove the team forward when ever possible, meaning Davies wasnt isolated like Elmander has found himself so far

November 4, 200817 yr Nolan needs the captains armband taken off him so he can concentrate on his own game I agree with TSO, I would rather the captaincy was shifted away from Nolan, not sure who to though (KD or Cahill?)
November 4, 200817 yr I would have taken the captaincy of Nolan last season, but this year he has matured into the role, he is the leader of the team and is playing good football to boot, in fact the time is right to extend Nolan's contract and make him the best paid player at the club, he is central to everything good at BWFC.

Arsenal are not half as good as they would be if they had a "pointer" in there team. Last season Nolan did his "pointing" well, but his footballing form wasn't great. For me in his last 3 or so games his footballing form has greatly improved and he is still controlling the team with his "pointing"/captaincy. I agree with Mounts, the club should prove how much he means to them and get him on a long term contract.
