Gary Cahill was named in the top eleven on Soccer Saturday, along side vidic.

That's ahead of terry, carragher et al. A great achievement playing for little Bolton. With the recognition he has got in recent months he must be close to an England call up- but sadly it puts him even more in the "shop window"

That said if we can gat 10m plus it must be good business?

"Little Bolton" - what a fckin annoying relic from the Allardyce era.

Cahill has been superb though all season and so that accolade, although not much, is still very fitting nonetheless.

10 million is not a great return as we paid 5 million for him, similar to anelka we only made 7 million on him, he is now the premier leagues top scorer and should have not gone for a penny less than 20 million.

Disagree on that one mate.

It's still potentially as much as we can make on him given the current market value and therefore must be a resonable deal. (Not that I'd want to)

Anelka would never be the top prem scorer at Bolton as he didn't have the consistent quality areound him for the assists. Good players always appear better in better squads. Imagine if Jussi went to one of the top four teams? (god forbid)

I dont see why we cant command a larger fee after all hes young and English just look at Wigans latest trasnsfer sales and their projected sale of Valencia at around ?20 million. We dont need to sell him so why shoul we settle for any less. Anyhow hes a Bolton player and I hope they build the team around him

I have just read in the paper today that Cahill is one of Shearer's targets for next season. Let's hope Newcastle get relegated.

you see this is typical of their arrogance. Likely to be relegated yet still they covet one of our finest!
