Seems all the rage to get the full wanderersways spectrum of opinion on holiday destinations so...

Goin ibiza with the mrs in august. Only booked flights so far so wheres best for staying (not too dead, not full of scrotes), drinking eating and "others"

Thanking you.

I think we should create a locked thread, with one post that reads:

"there are loads of bars, all on one street, plenty of kebab shops, loads of slappers who you'll shag based on fact no one in england need ever find out but get the STD check up booked for your first week back

it'll be sunny during the day, dark at night

you can have an english breakfast in nearly every bar and you'll be mithered by birds with flyers day and night offering you 2 for 1 shooters"

Sounds like wigan!

Went last year with the lads, stopped a ten minute walk from the main strip which was chaotic, but generally the people and place are nowhere near as rough say Magaluf where we went the year before. (never will I go back there!) I think that's more down to the fact that its more upper class, and expensive in Ibiza.

We were all 19 and felt a bit too young there.

Lots of cockneys and Irish folk, just make sure you sit on the rocks and check out the sunset. Out of this world.

An absolute must!Watched the sunset last year from Cafe Del Mar and also from a Powerboat we all hired.Did the Radio 1 roadshow at Ibiza Rocks with Vernon Kay and it was a right laugh. All went in our Wanderers shirts which he picked out straight away.Got a chant of W*nky W*nky Wanderers from the bar behind us and a full pint(in a disposable glass)sailed straight over our heads and all down the back of some poor clown sat on somebodys shoulders in front.Nice to see we're loved everywhere.Beltin' day out though,p*ssed as a cricket!Had a good night out in Bar M as well and the one next door with the sax player playin live to the dance music(Didn't think that would work but it did).Back again this year at the start of August.Got two teenage lads and they thoroughly enjoyed it too.Kept away from the main bar street coz we couldn't be doin' with the mither, but it's what you make it.It's possible to keep it quiet or wild, depends what you want.

Top place to eat highly recommended is l'elephant just outside Sa An, id say avoid the West End part of San Antonio, tis awash with young boozed up drug fulled lads just like Ibiza Uncovered, Cafe Del Mar sunset is amazing and a deffo as already sat, you can eat at Savannah's which is next to Del Mar while sun sets then go to Mambo just as the Sun has set. Get over to Bora Bora beach in Playa Den Bossa, and Id highly recommend Ibiza Town for decent food and bars,

I do love Ibiza :yahoo:

i do too - apart from the west end of san an - the island is spot on!!!

you can stay in any of the nicer resorts and travel to anywhere else on the island you want pretty easily.

the Ibiza old town is probably the nicest place ive ever been - and its fooking mental at night!

We only went there during the day and went for a wander all round the castle on the hill. The women weren't impressed walking all up that hill to the top,but we kept them going by telling them there was a pool up there !What's it like at night coz we might go back for another look?

went ibiza in 1984 and it was mental then, My lasting memory was my mate getting bitten by a police dog for letting the fire extinguisher off in the hotel lobby, funny it was too.

Went Magaluf lasy year on a stag do some 20 years after my first trip, that was a good giggle and brought memories flooding back.........

Take some nodders with you on the off chance your mrs wants an early night and you fancy an extra half hour out on the lash. Need i add more to that sentence
