Faulty Cordless Drill

i've got a cordless black and decker drill wilth "versapak" recharchable bateries. The batteries only operate the drill very slowly.

Has any one any knowlwdge or experience of this.

Is it likley to be

1 faulty charger

2 faulty batteries

3 faulty drill.

Can anyone recommend the best place for it to be asessed?

Thanks

Manchester Road, just down towards Burnden from the Technical College.

Battery's probably goosed. Is there a chance you've left it on charge for too long?

Well that's probably it then. I did the same a few months back. Forgot the fecker was on charge and left it for nearly a week.

I just bought another drill. No idea where you'd get a new battery. Try the place you bought it from.

Black and Decker are well aware of this issue. I have had the same problem, which B&D sorted by sending a replacement battery. If you ring the customer service hotline and when they answer quote "versapak dud battery" they put you through to their technical help. They just need your serial number and they send out a new one in a day or two.

Try the reset button. Pull out the battery and it will be on the bottom.

Panic over - it looks like worthy's finally found the drill speed knob.

Black & Decker power are known to be suss, it is always better to invest in a good Power Tool ie, Makita, panasonic, millwaukee,

Dont buy a De-Walt as the innards are made buy.........
