He's a decent enough squad player, i think megson possibly wants to give JOB chance to prove his worth rather than letting him go whilst he's injured.

 

Plus he came through the academy which will be helpful if they bring UEFA cup style squad rules into the leage.

Like Cas says, it's hardly a fortune and I doubt anyone would touch him whilst he's injured.

I've heard he's on as low a basic as anyone in the first team squad, with top-ups for when (or should that be IF) he plays
