Matty Taylor To Brum?

Featured Replies

I'm with you pal, that bloke is a poor judge of a midfield player.

8,453 league games, 3,255 goals for 93 clubs says you're wrong

Taylor has a track record of losing his way after being at a club for 2 or 3 years, we are just another example.

And theres fcuk all chance of Wilshere being here beyond May 9th 2010.

bollocks

track record, my arse

you must be thinking of somebody else

did alright when he first arrived personally think his chances will be more limited next season if he stays. he has either been injured when he has played recently or his legs have gone seems to be treading water when he runs far too slow these days 2 mill yes please

fucking dick head.

matty taylor is hisory

tek 2m

Well you can't argue with stats like that.

"mate of mine" met OC this week and he stated that his long-term plan is to play with two wingers.

If we want a Beckham-esque type winger - then Taylor fits the bill. If we want a Lennon-esque type winger - then Taylor is out.

BUT...... should we write him off as a left full back? Didn't he start in this position at Pompey?

Yes we should. He's shite defensively.

But we shouldn't be getting rid and definitely not for ?2 million. He'll come good again and I'd rather it be for us. You'd think we were bursting with attacking options the way folk are after dumping our players.

more often than not, his free kicks don't get past the wall and his corners don't beat the first man

I think you're getting him confused with LCY. That's the one part of his game which hasn't been poor.

He's had a poor season, personally I think he is better than 2M and can sort himself out for us. The fans booing him is probably a factor.

The fans booing him are nothing but fans.

Its down to us the "supporters" to get behind Matty and encourage him back to his best.

Doing his confidence no good at all getting on his back.

Looks a bit "chunky" this season. My guess is that he is carrying some sort of nigglin injury that will get sorted close season. On his day he's as good as owt we've got. Better than average goal scoring record, great left foot too. Worth far more than 2m. I would stick with him. Unless we have a slimmer, faster, higher goal scoring, better left footed, younger midfielder lined up. :pardon:

are you sure about that or did you just make that up?

he's only had 3 clubs

he did well at Luton, got move to Pompey, did well, got edged out when Redknapp got better players, like Krancjar in.

then signed for us

knight is better under coyle

as is elmander

theres no reason why taylor can't get back to his best - might need the reebok masses to back him

if hes at his best, he's miles better than owt wilshire has shown us

in fact,i guarantee if wilshire was a young kid of ours, he'd be getting stick

thats my point

then you should've said so and just come straight out with it

too many ifs and buts mind

Best game for us on Saturday Wilshere, threads a great pass.

Taylor has struggled all season, I can't remember if he had an injury hit summer but looks short of a good pre-season to get himself match fit. I won't be sad to see him go but for "just" ?2M I would be tempted to keep him - every player has his price and ?2M isn't enough.
