For what its worth my local in Gawsworth charges ?2.90 for a pint of whatever the guest beer is and we've had a few good uns.

You would be right, I just thought it was odd being shut without much notice - the leccy bill story didn't add up like I said after seeing the lights on.

Another rumour was that the bailiffs had gone in and taken the pool table. Considering that the pool table is not the property of the pub why would the bailiffs do that.
