As much as Megson was a Gary Neville, he had an eye for a player, he was terrible at getting them to play for him though

On the whole I'd say fantastic signings, and every credit goes to him for that, but there was one signing that really on it's own countered the good for me and that was Gregorz Rasiak, seriously what was he thinking with that, Bolton have sold Anelka, but don't worry they've brought in Rasiak! woohoooo!!!!!!

he was planning for life in the Championship, so was I after that Villa bumming, but the lads sorted themselves out in the end

He was close to getting Elmander, but when Toulouse realised how much we'd sold Anelka for they put the price up to silly money.

 

Rasiak was a last second panic loan as the frenchies dug their heels in over Elmo.
