Been bang at it now for the last couple of months, every Friday, Jerk Chicken, Rice n pea's, Steam Veg, Coleslaw and Pepper steak gravy / Curry Goat....!!!!!!

 

Shame we have none in Bolton....just stuck with too many Curry and kebab shops, although Community Ethnicity dictate's this.

There definitely used to be one on St George's Road opposite Raj Shahi.

There was a Caribbean place on St Georges Rd. Was good too

 

As with all places that do a different cuisine to Italian, Chinese, Indian, nobody goes.

Caribbean curries don't generally have coconut, at least none I've seen. That's more Thai and SE Asia.

I love Caribbean food, one of my ex-girlfriends was half Jamaican and used to rustle up some amazing food.

 

Shame there's not more of it around here. I get some good stuff during the week in London though.

 

I think some of islands have quite a large Asian population (Guyana is one I think) hence some dishes containing coconut and the like....

Caribbean take away place opened in Salford/edge of manc city centre.. Its on the bottom of Bridge Street by Salford Central, if you work in town give it a try well worth a visit
