Bolton Wanderers defender Jlloyd Samuel has agreed to join npower Championship side Cardiff City on a loan deal that will run until the end of the season.

 

Samuel, who has twice been capped by the Trinidad and Tobago national side, was out with a thigh injury earlier this term but has recently returned to action for the reserve side turning in a number of impressive performances.

 

The left-back has made over 80 appearances for the Whites and was an ever-present in the 2008/09 season. He will now link-up with Dave Jones and his Cardiff squad ahead of the weekend's game against Derby County.

 

"Jlloyd has been out for a number of months," manager Owen Coyle explained. "In that time he has really applied himself well and worked hard on his fitness. Again, this move to Cardiff City will provide him with games, which is now what he needs to put himself back into contention for the first team."

JLS will be remembered mostly for slotting that own goal against United. A very composed side footer back across Jussi just inside the far post when under no pressure whatsoever..

To be fair he did more than just score an og against united. He made a great tackle against Ronaldo that only resulted in a penalty because the ref was bent!
