Half Price S/tickets

Wonder if this will set off a trend especially amongst the teams that will need that extra man in the closing games.

Not sure how existing holders will feel though?

Good initiative from the powers that be.

Our 49 dabs works out the same...

I know that.

We are talking about Newcastle though - big club, big catchment area, big town and currently top 4. Not Bolton.

There is a feel-good factor around the place at the moment and their Marketing Dept are capitalizing on it which in turn will ensure capacity crowds.

We should take note - the bigger games (City, United, Chelsea) have gone and unless something is done then we could be playing in half empty grounds against un-attractive opposition.

People have no money and need incentives and money off to encourage them to part with their hard earned.

I know our S/T's are relatively cheap but our situation has changed and we need everyone on board to help with our survival chances.

I am sure our Marketing Team are aware of this though.

Well done to them.

But I thought they had the best support in the world anyway !?!

We were getting worried about our favourite (well only) Everton supporter

Good short term fix, but doesn't reward loyalty.

May backfire in the longterm in future ST sales!

Could have offered a 25% discount to new half season ticket sign ups and used the other 25% to give back to existing ST holders who sign a friend up for the half season.

This would mean that existing ST holders would have the opportunity to pay the same as the part time supporters for the last half of the season.

Would also create an incentive for people to round up their mates and may increase the likelyhood of buying a full ST next year if they see the discounts shared with full ST holders

I know that.

they have just shut the singing section though and fans now spread around the ground

they've also changed the rules on membership and loyalty points or something

though mi geordie mate did get a ticket for ?20 for the wigan game there's been plenty going on at the club that's seen long standing fans get shafted

I didn't know you could get a season ticket for 49 fish. I'd better get my rod out.
