November 10, 201114 yr You're correct, it could have lit a fire under that free-scoring strikeforce that is Everton FC. More likely, we'd have stayed at 1-0, got the 3 points, and removed your embarrassment of a club from the Premier League. But alas, life is cruel and we've had to make do with your lot grinding out 0-0 draws every week for eternity. ps. your - belonging to you you're - shortened version of you are Ouch, my spelling / grammer skills, right were it hurt!!!! Key sign of having no come back at all, attack the spelling !! FWIW, I would kill for a 0-0 at this moment in time. You remember that "goal" but im sure you remember your goal at Villa the same season ??? Should not have been given ??? Naaaah, doesn't suit your argument ! Come on, "Sir"....correct my grammer!!! ::
November 10, 201114 yr Ouch, my spelling / grammer skills, right were it hurt!!!! (almost Pablo, "Ouch! My spelling/grammar skills - right where it hurts!") Key sign of having no come back at all, attack the spelling !! (even closer, "A key sign of having no come-back at all - attack the spelling!") FWIW, I would kill for a 0-0 at this moment in time. (FWIW, this is pretty good!) You remember that "goal" but im sure you remember your goal at Villa the same season ??? Should not have been given ??? Naaaah, doesn't suit your argument ! ("I'm", not im) Come on, "Sir"....correct my grammer!!! ("grammar", not grammer - besides, my main issue is spelling and misuse of words, not the grammar) <img src='http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='::::' /> Was that the 3-1? The game where we beat them convincingly? Rather than the odd goal in a 0-0 borefest? Just a couple of points for you: 1) I didn't attack your spelling as my main point, just as an aside at the bottom of my reply. It's much easier to read someone's post if they can formulate it in the language that is SUPPOSED to be their native tongue. 2) We were actually five goals worse off on goal difference to you that season, but that wouldn't have made any difference if that goal was given - we'd have been 3 points ahead of you. 3) Replying to someone who has lambasted your spelling with a post with bad spelling means you're either purposefully forcing your point, or you're actually far thicker than first anticipated. I'm going for the second option. Just like the teachers at school (you know, that building where you SHOULD have gone between the ages of 5 and 16) I have added corrections into your quote above. It's not your fault, you're Scouse. Not much you can do about that except blame your parents for not moving away before you were born.
November 10, 201114 yr Was that the 3-1? The game where we beat them convincingly? Rather than the odd goal in a 0-0 borefest? Ignoring the other bollocks you put...! You just don?t get it do you ??? Goals change games. Say your goal at Villa was not given....How do you know Villa would not have scored 1 goal ?? making it 2-2, you just getting 1 point ???!! Funny how you only want to apply this to suit your argument! Have you ever had a goal lead, and lost the game ??? The answer to this must be No, as you have clearly made your mind up, that after you scored that goal against us, the final whistle would have gone!! Edited November 10, 201114 yr by Pablo

If we'd have played on for 3 days your shower of sh*te wouldn't have scored...
November 10, 201114 yr If we'd have played on for 3 days your shower of sh*te wouldn't have scored... Well based on the FACT that we had a better goal difference, that statement is bollocks, and you know it.
November 11, 201114 yr Well based on the FACT that we had a better goal difference, that statement is bollocks, and you know it. You scored the same number of goals, just conceded less. We were awful that season, and so were you guys - truth be told we both deserved to go down and you guys were just the lucky ones!
November 11, 201114 yr You scored the same number of goals, just conceded less. We were awful that season, and so were you guys - truth be told we both deserved to go down and you guys were just the lucky ones! You should have just said that, before the bile filled bitterness come out, but you must feel better for it now ! You did deserve to go down, you had 30 games after you played us, AND Chelsea lay down for you first half in that last game. If you cant get enough points / goals to to stay up, after all that, then you should be going down. 1 key point, it was the ref and liner that made the error, not Everton. I would rather the goal have stood, then you have nothing to cry about, as you would have still gone down.

Fair point on Chelsea that day every fan in the ground that day wanted Bolton to take the points. I remember Vialli not celebrating when he scored. I assume he too wanted to see Everton with the nationwide badges on the sleves. :p
