I like the poll what our resident seasider has put up, but what do you think of todays music ? I loved the punk scene after loads of dull gigs in the mid 70s, same with rave/house/trance in the 90s. But nothing whats coming out now appeals to me. You would think with a depression some new sound would hit the airwaves.

Modern stuff is muck. I got the King on my iPod tonight - great songs - Heartbreak Hotel, In the Ghetto, Your the Devil in Disguise, Jailhouse Rock, The Wonder of You etc etc. Nothing better than chilling to this with a nice beer.

Also, new albums out this year from Trivium, In Flames, Death Cab for Cutie are all tip top
