I can sort of understand the attraction if it's over some gorge in New Zealand or such, but off a crane in the car park of the 'Dog and Duck'?

 

The current world record high-dive of 177ft into open water was set by Oliver Favre in 1987 in France.

 

Surely, at 111 metres, that aussie girl has smashed this record? Some officious arse from Guinness would probably start nitpicking though...

I tried it once in Falaraki.

 

I hated every second of it, but once i had given it the Billy big bollocks I had to go through with it. It took all the skin off my ankles and cost me a perfectly good pair of under crackers.

 

still, I've done it now so never even have to contemplate doing it again.

 

 

I quite like paragliding though, quite restful and fun.

 

The biggest mistake I ever made was to go on these rubber ring things that are towed at about 80MPH behind a speedboat!!

 

I had a dicky tummy as it was and the design of the rings means that your arse is in the water and it was like having an enema... I don't need to describe the consequences. Never Again!!
