Didledee Posted April 10, 2012 Author Posted April 10, 2012 (edited) But that shouldn't be needed anyhow in Derry's defence, all he did was put his hand on his back, it wasn't a push or a pull of the shirt, you can grapple a player and touch them when defending, it wasn't like he grabbed him and did a Mortal Combat Scorpoion "get over here" Like I said during the game, the faintest of touches can make a player go down, especially when it can get them a clear scoring chance like a penalty, that's how things are, but if it goes to review, do the thing that you can do and that's wipe away the red card and forget about whether it was a dive or offside. DazBob Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 i know what your saying dids, but you cant review a player for going down easily. If they did then there'd be cans and worms everywhere. Quote

Didledee Posted April 10, 2012 Author Posted April 10, 2012 Grapple is the wrong word , I mean like tussle(do I?) use your arm to defend when chasing, obviously not to fierce, 'cos then it's a foul. Quote
