HomerJay Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) http://beta.betfair....?id=1.103211258 we are 1.4 to be relegated. back us to go down and you'll be only fan with a be cheesy grin on the final whistle (what ever the result) is that wrong? Edited May 8, 2012 by HomerJay Quote
Smiffs Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Slightly different but why would you back Stoke to win at 2.85 when QPR are 3.45 to stay up? Quote
HomerJay Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 http://beta.betfair.com/football/market?id=1.105650529 you could also lay bolton win for basically 1.5 Quote
HomerJay Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 then have a cheeky quid on qpr to beat city at 18, just incase we do beat stoke and still get fucked. Quote
Guest Frandsen08 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 we have a squad full of players who get paid to see us stay up Quote
HomerJay Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 maybe they all have money on qpr staying up? Quote
matty_bwfc11 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Or use my logic and stick the ?100 on the night out I will have if we stay up on a Bolton, Man City double. We stay up, I've got another ?200 quid on top of my celebration fund. We go down, just accept that I would have been royally f*cked off anyway, be twice as royal f*cked off at being relegated and losing a hundred quid, go home and be miserable for about 3 months. Quote
stevieb Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Or get Traf to come along to explain a way to bet on several outcomes across several bookies without losing a penny then get half the board going "I cant be arsed with all that for the sake of ?20". Quote
Traf Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Or get Traf to come along to explain a way to bet on several outcomes across several bookies without losing a penny then get half the board going "I cant be arsed with all that for the sake of ?20". Very good. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) How much is Shake Man Souris paying that lot down the road, not to fuck up on the last day? ?250,000 a man, if The Daily Mail is to be believed... http://www.dailymail...ague-title.html Time to speculate, or is it rewarding failure in a roundabout way? (if we were to follow the City example - on a smaller scale). Edited May 8, 2012 by Youri McAnespie Quote
Breightmet Boy Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Some things are far more important than money and gaining from us getting relegated would be not just dirty, it would be filthy money. Im guilty in the past of a in-play bet and the feeling isn't pleasant. Quote
