Rumours of it, just a £1m or so though. I ws thinking more along the lines of youngish players. Shirley if he comes in for, say, Mark Davies, we can get £12m for him ... whereas it'd be £4.5m to anyone else.

If your talking value for money, and for £12 million, you get either M.Davies or Fletcher.....its a no-brainer !

you cant count jelavic for obvious reasons.

You cant compare deals player for player , but you can compare value for money !

 

Thats how you get good buys, which are value for money. Looking/Scouting around for good players, maybe down on their luck, or not gettig on with manager, or not fitting a system. = Pienaar

 

Even counting the full amount Jelavic would have cost £6 Million, Pienaar £5 million, Gibson £1 million!
