Blackpool Match Preview

Blackpool fan in peace. If I may just ask a couple of questions to help with our match preview thread on www.backhenrystreet.co.uk

1) What do you think of the appointment of Dougie Freedman?

2) Appointing Dougie Freedman has indirectly made us lose Holloway. What do you think of Appleton as an appointment?

3) Who is your main attacking threat?

4) Do you fear any Blackpool players?

5) How many Bolton fans will be coming?

6) Do you treat this as a local derby? I am sure you all know that some Blackpool fans hate Bolton for an event that occurred a long time ago. Bolton are often referred to as 'The Murderers'. Does this have any significance on the fixture for Bolton fans or is it mainly one way with Blackpool hating Bolton.

Thanks in advance. If you would like to join our forum for some banter, please feel free - we are quite away friendly although Bolton could be a challenge ;)

Yep,consider it done.

If its a sell out this will be Blackpool's first attendance over 15,000 since 1977.

That was also against us and that was 26k.

That was the game we had 3 sides of bloomfield road - with an estimated 20,000 Bolton fans in attendance

You are just another Lancashire run of the mill club like us

Your manager has just left you to join a club with with better prospects. There was a vacancy at that job because their manager had just left them to join a club with far better prospects, facilities, infrastructure and players... Us!

You had a dream year where you had a holiday in the premiership, we had 11 of those and will be back there a lot sooner than you ever will be.

Oh and isn't your record signing still Chris Basham from us for about £1m.

No word better sums up your club than tinpot!

Steady Eddie cut em some slack, they were top o the league for 5 minutes, that alone gives them pwning points.

I don't mean to be rude to them, but who the hell are Blackpool?

Not really a massive club are they and to say they'll take 5k to away games just shows how small minded they are and wanting to travel to other clubs to 'prove' a point. Mind you I can't blame anyone wanting to head out of that dirty town.

As for the incident that took place in the mid 70's why is that Blackpool always bring this one up instead of putting it to bed and leaving it well and truly in the past where it should be. There is no point in going over the same old ground just let him lay in his grave in peace.
