athywhite1958 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 This has been giving me sleepless nights of late, due to that fucking 'Furby' advert... Have they doctored the original or has Lionel Ritchie always had an almost imperthetible, Mike Tyson-like lisp? Yeth he hath Quote

Northern Dancer Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Oh agreed I meant until and including "How Dare You" Liked much of G&C's output as well I used to work part time as a stage hand at the Hammersmith Odeon way back. Saw 10cc do a 20 min version of Art for Art Sake at the afternoon sound check, which was pretty amazing. (not with G&C). Been trying to find the triple album Consequences on vinyl for ages (lost my original). Sadly I don't think 10cc got the recognition they deserved. They made some great albums. They where the first band to open a recording studio outside of London (Strawberry Studios). Don't think Iv'e seen a band since where all the members could sing the lead vocals on various tracks?. Kevin Godley's vocals on Don't Hang up is one of my fav tracks. I also like ELO and The Move. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHw02qu9UtY Quote
