Aberdeen V Hibs - Sky Sports One

Good job it says who was playing. I'd have guessed Seven Stars v Grey Mare.

This is scottish Premier League. All the folk banging on about non-league football, is this about the level?

I'd have thought that Scottish PL football is probably on a par with our conference, the only exception being Celtic who are head and shoulders a over everybody else....even they are probably only around mid table Championship level

I'm probably more than a bit biased considering I go to watch the SPL, but I'd say the standard is comparable to some of the sides who have been at the Reebok this season. Shocking first half today, mind.

I've flicked through the channels saw that and went back to Jamie lying about his cooking times and I don't even like him

chelsea just equalised on espn

but I'd say the standard is comparable to some of the sides who have been at the Reebok this season.

how would you explain the fact that hibs strikers are kuqi - long ago past it down here - and griffiths who can't get a game for wolves yet is banging them in up there

i'd put hibs level at lower division 3 (old money) at best

and, to support my view, there's way more money in boltons division than most of the SPL

so, why aren't all their players coming down here?

Griffiths has never been given a chance at Wolves - no idea why to be fair as they paid decent money for him, and that was after playing in the First Division for Dundee and not even the SPL.

It's an absolute mystery why Kuqi got a start - he's only been coming on for odd 5 minute spells here and there and hasn't done much. Again, though, he scored 16 goals for Oldham last year which isn't a bad return in a poor League One side.

There has been a fair trickle of players moving down here and that definitely hasn't helped the standard.

I suppose on today's evidence you've got a good shout for comparison, but there were some cracking performances earlier in the season. I went to the 4-0 win at Motherwell on a Friday night earlier in the season and some of the build up play that night was terrific.

Not today they weren't. Well done St Mirren
