January 22, 201412 yr Where's the "tip" from? It has a good chance, but I couldn't back it at 11/10 up against Shotavodka. It might very well win, but I'd want 6/4 or better personally.
January 22, 201412 yr Potentially 4 massive gambles today First Eye of the Tiger 6/1 into Eve, bolted up (ex Curley) Edited January 22, 201412 yr by zurichwhite
January 22, 201412 yr Potentially 4 massive gambles today First Eye of the Tiger 6/1 into Eve, bolted up (ex Curley) There's 4 altogether http://www.racingpost.com/news/live.sd?event_id=1127645&category=0
January 22, 201412 yr Looking at that race, I'm not sure how you would separate Hollywell from Shotavodka - given the choice I would probably plump for the latter, but I don't think that either are worth backing at those odds. Have the other 3 horses in the race only got 3 legs? (based on the prices being offered)

January 22, 201412 yr Holywell's a good 10lb in on hurdles form and while his jumping is suspect at a track with stiff fences, I'll play at evens for modest stakes
January 22, 201412 yr Author How much did you have on it smiler? We don't discuss that on here! Enough for somebody who doesn't believe in gambling.
January 22, 201412 yr We don't discuss that on here! Enough for somebody who doesn't believe in gambling. 1. Correct 2. Only ever gamble what you'd not be too concerned about losing. In the end it was good advice and not just because it won. It was available at 5/4 when I saw the advice and it ran at 10/11. Had I backed it and it lost, I'd still have been happy enough in the knowledge that I got 137.5% of SP. Good call, Smiler: more of the same please.
January 22, 201412 yr It'll be piss funny if the 4th doesn't win, as the vast majority of money is tied up into the last race.
January 22, 201412 yr It won at 4/7 after a year off when he was 90 length last Edited January 22, 201412 yr by zurichwhite
January 22, 201412 yr They have all run far better than expected from overnight odds of 7 to 20/1 . Curley's involved, so you know it's fucking dodgy.
January 22, 201412 yr Yeah, off for ages, big drops in handicaps. All stinks. What gets me is how the handicapper relents so much so quickly. One was dropped about 40 lbs in 4 runs.
January 22, 201412 yr Last one just gone in, amazing gamble today Edited January 22, 201412 yr by zurichwhite
January 23, 201412 yr Kodicil, 1.30pm, Fakenham. 13/8 Won well LTO in first-time blinkers, likes heavy ground. Runs off same mark as last week, jockey claims 3lb, every chance at 7/4.
