June 26, 201412 yr Most travel insurance policies don't cover you for mopeds with or without a helmet, quad bikes, motorised water crafts. They are quite happy to take your premiums, but don't want to pay out.

As shit as it is (and it's a bad do) he will have taken out insurance and agreed to the t and c's without reading them. Riding the moped without a helmet is stupid at best, especially abroad. He will have invalidated his insurance and if you put it into context, if you saw a lad riding around Bolton with no helmet on, you'd have little sympathy for him. It's nothing to do with insurance companies squirming out, LW / Nobster, the lad unfortunately just wasn't covered, so why should they pay?

June 26, 201412 yr Years back we'd booked a holiday to Spain with my mum and dad but unfortunatly my dad passed away months before we were due to go. The holiday insurance wasn't a problem and paid out for my dad but my mum decided to come with us anyway. The holiday company then charged her suppliment because only 1 person was occupying a room for 2. I went down and hit the fucking roof with the travel company but i didn't get any joy but it made me feel alot better and the girl feel like a right cunt
