Looking at taking daughter on her first holiday abroad for next year. Thinking either Alykes or Alykanas in Zante next Sept. Anyone been? Seems nice enough for families and isn't full of karaoke and red lion pubs.

Get to Ipsos on Corfu, the most boring place on earth. The bus ride back to the airport was the thrilling part of the hols.

Try Crete. They do a cracking Greek meal and a glass of raki.

Very narrow strip of beach that a few of the Hotels lead out onto, but shallow for good distance so decent for young uns
