Fundraising Request

Fellow Wandererswayers, I am looking for your support again please.

8 weeks today I will be doing my first ever half marathon along the front at Blackpool to raise funds for Sense.

Sense are completely reliant on charity donations to exist and provide the support they give to families like us. Erin, my youngest daughter, is registered Deafblind and the support we are given by Sense is invaluable to us as a family. From help, support and advice through to organising sibling weekends for Abbie to attend and spend time with other kids in the same positions, right through to legal advice and support such as our recent battle on school placing.

I know everyone has their own favoured charity with good reason, if you could find even just a couple of pound to support this fantastic organisation it will be greatly appreciated and will certainly help me around the 13 miles.

Thank you

The day is almost here, and with £1,336 raised to date, I am exemely grateful to everyone who has donated, will really help me up and down the prom in the morning.

There's still time if you've just not got round to it yet!

Nervous but looking forward to it......

Thanks to everyone who have supported me and my fundraising for my first ever half marathon.

2 hours 19 minuted 22 seconds was my chip time, which I am supply with as a first try.

Tough doing 7 miles into a head wind and struggled on the last 3.

Glad I did it, I'll do it again and made up with the fundraising.

Thank you

Top effort, man.

You should be really proud of your achievement.

Nice one, I couldn't do it and you have raised a good amount there too. Well done fella.

IAMIN. Great cause, well done mate.

even though we trained for it was a lot harder than i ever imagined, the last 3 miles were fuckin awful.

although i run the last 200 metres with my little un, all the crowd were cheering and i though fair play to um all, till i looked round and the bloke who won the marathon was right on my heels, he overtook me about 10 yard from the line, i had nowt left in my tanks to try and sprint.

Well done, I find it's always a lot harder on race day than when you're training. The last one I did I almost crawled the last half mile
