The Soccer Saturday pundit is calling for the Premier League to draft in Pierluigi Collina for what he thinks will be "a war" between the Premiership's main protagonists. Marsh insists that following the infamous Battle of Old Trafford last September the world's best-known ref should be given the unenviable task of keeping the likes of Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira apart when the two fierce rivals finally meet again. "For the past three years I have been advocating that we bring foreign referees into the Premiership," he said. "And there's no-one better than Collina. "I know he is too old for FIFA and coming to the end of his time in Serie A, but he is still eligible for the Premier League, so why not get him in? And Sunday is the perfect chance. "This game is genuinely going to be a war! We need a strong referee with a clean slate, who has no history with this game or either club. Collina fits the bill." Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said trouble between players the last time the teams played at Old Trafford led to some supporters misbehaving. Then, a fight broke out after Arsenal players taunted United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy when he missed a penalty. GMP said it did not want behaviour on the pitch influencing the fans. Ian Alspey, of GMP, said: "We want everybody to keep calm. Historically, there have been few problems with supporters at this fixture but there were issues last year on and off the field. "Behaviour on the pitch can have an effect on what happens in the stands. "In the aftermath of the issues on the field last season, there were one or two incidents of misbehaviour from supporters leaving the ground.
