August 4, 201610 yr I've visited Carvoeiro a couple of times,but never actually stayed there. It's a nice little former fishing village, with plenty of places to eat and drink. Nice beaches and it's handy for visiting Lagos.

August 4, 201610 yr Carvoeira is on the West, about 20 miles NW of LIsbon Carvoeiro is on the Algarve between Lagos (as you mentioned) and Albufeira.
