Superb mate. Golden days weren’t they ? Flat Jack, Little Harry and not forgetting David Hughes. True legends from a golden era for Lancs. First away watching Lancs was against Cornwall in the Nat West/Gillette Cup, mid 70’s ...we stopped off en route to Newquay in the Bolton holidays. Big Clive signed my programme on the pitch...top man. Watched “the one and only Cup semi” on YouTube the other week....amazing scenes, still playing at 3am
July 13, 20197 yr Very sad, but 87 is a decent innings. His last match was my first and he scored a 50. RIP to a Lancashire Great.
