I rate him as the best of our youngsters Was impressed with him against Portsmouth. A few of his previous sub appearances etc, typically being stuck out wide, hadn't allowed us to see the best of him. Reckon he just needs a few games, maybe a goal or two, and we'll see him really settle. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I think he'll settle into the team completely when the manager trusts him to play every week, in his correct position. At the moment it feels like he only plays when others are unavailable. I would personally build the team around him and Darcy for the next couple of years, but playing him out of position or not at all is an indication of where Hill's thoughts are. If Murphy is back on Tuesday I expect Politic to make way (Dodoo back on the wing) and when Crawford returns (which we all want), he will be further pushed out. For me, Luke Murphy is the one that contributes the least but Hill seems to rate him. Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I'd love to see a team of Wanderers kids + a couple of experienced older heads romp Div 2. Quote
