County stand i used  to go In was always bang on. Depends what you’re looking for from the day and track though?

Birds, bing & booze, I'd imagine.

Ah the holy trinity

County stand it is then

although to be fair only difference will be class of bird the higher up the scale you go. Booze and bing a plenty everywhere

Anyone bothering with the virtual grand national?  I see it has a half hour slot on ITV.

Peregrine Run 66/1 as I was on ante post in the real one

Any Second Now wins it

Kimberlite Candy and a long shot at Kildisart.

The nippers have chosen some at random, for the cause.

That was great family Sweep and Zoom call

Just what we all needed

Picked 4 at a fiver each

Wife picked the winner

75 quid profit

I didn't bother, wife had £5 e/w on winner.

But as she used my betting account, I've won £108.

Surely, the expert tipsters shouldve been all over the winner

They are, presunably, working on past performance and thus predicting the winner based on that

Just like the computer does

Maybe you should let your wives bet more often :)

I’ve not done betting on virtual horse racing before and have to say I’m not going to start. It was never going to be possible to recreate atmosphere, but I thought everything about the coverage was very...flat.

Based on the stats/data I have access to, the winner did indeed have a very strong chance, but his jumping often leaves a little to be desired and Aintree in no place for jumping errors.

My gripe about the coverage etc was that they could have tried to show more close-up pictures.

But it was what it was, I suppose ; a tea-time cartoon.

Mine does from time to time and does OK, as she uses my stuff. 😉

Fantastic, but I expected both numbers to be higher, if I'm honest

Don’t forget the 2.6mill is just the profit on the book. Could be that the winner was well backed and was a decent price so could have taken a good chunk out the satchels

Yeah, I get that.

I just expected bigger numbers tbh.

If it was open to people without online accounts would have been much bigger. But your once a year punter doesn’t have one in most cases eh

Rarely gamble but i have 3 or 4 accounts

Cant remember user names or paswords for any of them

Got two cards blocked, temporarily, in trying to open another one

D'oh!

Of course. No bookie shops are open. I somehow overlooked that in my calculations.
