My abiding memory was listening to 2 lads in the queue for the bog, "so did he go down when you hit him with the bin?", "oh aye!".

Remember it well.

We went in two tranny vans from the stag, 25 lads in each.

Stopped off in Chester on the way, some of the lads stripped off and jumped off a bridge into the river, Jap tourists taking photos and me telling them it was an old English tradition.

Got pulled over outside the ground and a copper opened the back doors and B** R*b*tt fell out holding a huge spliff.

Went in a mini van with some right headcases that day from the vic pub.

 

how we got there i'll never know ....was one of the worse vans ever seen,

 

so much ale drank on the way down if you wanted a piss it was out the backdoor and hope you did not fall out the fkin thing...

 

if the old bill would have pulled us over ...we all would have got arrested on the spot. spliffs, the lot .. stopped just outside wrexham ..the first pub we went into , was full of other bolton lads. where one of the vic lads got upset at losing a few quid on the fruite machine, to say the least it got smashed.. also remember some yank tourist in the said boozer asking who we was ... the reply .................... we are just dear old english gents ma'am
